GATE 2017 Score Card: GATE 2017 has collected thousands of aspirants willing to take the GATE exam and make into IITs and IISc for M.Tech Program and jobs at PSUs. GATE 2017 Score Calculation:
Calculation of Normalized Marks for CE, CS, EC, EE and ME papers is done since the examination is held in multi session. A suitable normalization is applied due to varying levels of difficulty of the paper. Hence the normalized marks is given by:

In the GATE 2017 score formula, Mq is usually 25 marks (out of 100) or μ+σ, whichever is larger. Here μ is the mean and σ is the standard deviation of marks of all the candidates who appeared in the paper.
After the declaration of the results, GATE Score Cards can be downloaded for:
1. All SC/ST/PwD candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying mark of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their respective papers2. All other candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying mark of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers
NOTE: There is no provision for the issue of additional GATE Score Cards

Score Card valid for GATE qualifying Candidates NOTE:You can download the GATE Score Card only if they have qualified in GATE 2017 exam.
- Candidates who can access the GATE Score Card must download and save it.
- Take a minimum of two printout copies for higher education into post graduate program or for PSU jobs
- The last date to download the GATE Score Card is May 2017 . Candidates who did not take a printout will not be able to access the Score Card thereafter.
